The whitetail blinds are put away, Tobin is freezing over and we’re gearing up for another big year on the ice! We’ve got great fishing for walleye, northern pike, burbot, perch and more. We still hold the record for biggest walleye through the ice in the world and we’ve got comfortable sleeper houses on the lake waiting for you.

There are numerous reasons to like fall, but the fishing and hunting opportunities are our favorite. While fishing heats up on Tobin Lake as fall hits, we start switching gears as the temps start to drop. We’ve been busy checking trail cams and getting our hunters into the woods.
We’re finally getting a little snow and the temps are forecasted to drop. This is good news. The milder weather has kept deer activity to a minimum. With the upcoming cold front combined with increased rut activity, our hunters could be in for a wild time in the woods.
Our guiding area is 300,000 acres of Saskatchewan timber. Chocolate-antlered bruisers roam the woods and wandering in and out of our stand locations. As the weather gets colder, the bucks start moving earlier.
We’ve had some really unique bucks on camera this year, including one we’re calling “Unicorn.” He’s moved all over the place, appearing on all our different cameras.

Summer is coming to an end and we’ll be transitioning to our fall whitetail hunts here at Trails End Outfitters. We’re looking forward to it!
This is also the time to look ahead to spring. If you’ve been thinking about a Saskatchewan bear hunt, we’ve got lots of bears and we have some openings next spring.
Our large exclusive area lies within Northern Saskatchewan Provincial forest. It is densely wooded with vast areas of swamp and rivers. The combination of excellent habitat and very little hunting pressure allows our bears to grow big and old. We have combo fishing packages as well. Tobin lake has 75,000 acres of sandy shoals, shallow bays and submerged timber. Enough structure to produce world record walleye and monster pike.

Our spring bear season is almost here! We just had a group cancel so a rare opening is availabale! May 13 – 19th is available for a group up 6 people. Full American plan so lodging meals are included.
